yeah i guess when the howard and O&A scandal happened that they deciede to tell the boys down crutchfield first...nobody will ever know what hapened and the reason why they did not make an impact is the fact that they are building a name for themselves again

This came from an XM rep actually bud. O & A was still under contract but their show was taken from them. So that is why they were not working for about a year and half before signing with XM. They had to wait until their prior contract expired. Of course Clearvision (I beleive was the company) was not going to release them out of their contract so that they could take their show elsewhere beforehand.

There are people that I've heard call in to different stations on Sirius from Great Britain, Canada, Hawaii & Alaska, and Germany. Now some of them may be listerners via the web on the streaming player, but lots of them identify themselves as subscribers.

Just like Stripes says, if not for XM's early launch & deal with GM, Sirius would be way ahead. Lots of people who swear by XM have had it since the beginning and have never heard Sirius's broadcasting.

Germany, Great Britain, and Hawaii callers, would have to be streaming listeners. Now, Canada, and Alaska is very possible that they are actaul tuner subscribers.

Yeah--I figured on GB/Germany/Hawaii...wasn't sure about Alaska. I knew for sure some areas in Canada were getting Sirius.

what the *(@& are you talking about i was not on here trying to be smart i was talking about O&A but if you want to talk numbers i think they speak for themselves people like XM better and football fan you are going to stick your foot in your mouth because weren't you the one telling me that i rely on probability well quit telling me what sirius is supposed to be in the future and look at it today XM is first place in the race

To only look at current #'s and not trends is foolish man. XM's subscribers increased from a lil over 5 mil to 6 mil this past year. 15-20% increase. Sirius increased from 1.1 mil to 3.3 mil over the past year. that's a 200% increase in the subscription base in the past year. While XM may be winning the war right now, Sirius is mounting a heavy attack...those #'s don't lie.

once XM goes to canada they expect to pick up like 1.2 mil...so since we are going on probability is it safe to say the score in XM 7.2 mil sirius 3.3 mil
